Stephanie’s Eyebrows of Citrus and Marion County
What is Microblading?
Microblading refers to a type of Permanent Makeup specifically for the eyebrows. It is a technique that uses a specialized tool which produces a hair-like appearance with each stroke of pigment over the eyebrow. All other applications of Permanent Makeup and tattooing use a electric machine called a tattoo pen. A tattoo pen is used on the eyebrows if the desired look is solid.
What is the difference between Permanent Makeup and a Tattoo?
The word “permanent” in “Permanent Makeup” is a misnomer because the pigments used are formulated for use on the face and are designed to fade over 1 to 2 years. Stephanie recommends NOT using tattoo inks on the face since they are truly permanent. Therefore, refresh appointments will maintain the original art, or a new desired look can be created.
Pain Free Process
Cost and Scheduling
Microblading is a 2-visit process, industry wide. This is because the skin cannot handle all the work that is required on one day. The second visit is called a Touch-Up appointment done 3 to 4 weeks later. Both appointments last 2 hours each. Clients are kept comfortable and pain-free with numbing ointment. The first visit is $275. The Touch-Up visit is $125. All Refresh visits are $125. However, since Stephanie guarantees her work there would be no charge for 30-day Touch-Up visits to achieve the original desired outcome.
